Since its official establishment in May 1999, UKS Jagiellończyk Biała Podlaska has become a cornerstone of women’s volleyball in the Lublin Voivodeship, offering young female athletes a structured and supportive environment to grow both on and off the court. As the club celebrates its 25th anniversary, it continues to strengthen its position as a key player in the development of volleyball in eastern Poland.

The club is exclusively dedicated to women’s volleyball, training girls between the ages of 6 and 19. Its development pathway covers a wide range of age groups and skill levels, from beginners to competitive youth athletes. While UKS Jagiellończyk primarily competes in youth and amateur leagues, it also serves as a launchpad for talented players aspiring to join professional teams. Several athletes who began their careers at the club have successfully transitioned to higher levels of competition.
A Community of Over 200 Young Athletes
Today, the club boasts 105 officially licensed athletes, with approximately 200 girls regularly involved in various training programs, camps, and club-organized activities. UKS Jagiellończyk Biała Podlaska is more than just a sports organization – It is a vital part of the local community, providing opportunities for physical development, teamwork, and personal growth in a positive, inclusive environment.
Notable Alumni and Coaching Achievements
Over the years, the club has nurtured players who have earned national recognition. Among them are Hanna Kubiszewska and Alicja Sautycz, both of whom have represented Poland in the national team. The club has also seen its coaching staff progress to prominent roles within the Polish volleyball scene, including positions in PlusLiga, Poland’s top-tier professional league, and the national coaching staff.
Competitive Excellence at the National Level
UKS Jagiellończyk has a proud history of competing in Polish Championship tournaments across various age categories. The club consistently ranks among the top 30 volleyball programs in the country, a testament to its well-structured training system and athlete development model. Many of its players have achieved medal-winning success while on loan to other clubs, further validating the club’s high standards. In addition to indoor volleyball, the club has made a name for itself in beach volleyball, with several players earning top national rankings.
