The EDATS project system is being tested in Serbia as well

The Serbian partner of the EDATS project, SK Volley Novi Sad, has also started testing the sensors and analytical software developed within the framework of the cooperation. During the most recent in-person project meeting held in Hungary, the partners received access to the software developed by the Italian company DAUVEA, as well as the sensors.

SK Volley Novi Sad is a well-established, youth-focused volleyball club based in Novi Sad, currently working with approximately 350 athletes. The club operates both girls’ and boys’ teams in the mini volleyball, pioneer, cadet, and senior categories, supported by strong professional expertise and extensive competitive experience. Under these conditions, SK Volley Novi Sad represents a highly important and valued partner, actively participating in the testing and further development of innovative sports technology solutions through practical implementation.

The club provides an ideal real-life environment for the application of the digital and measurement tools developed within the project, with particular emphasis on monitoring the performance, workload, and development of youth athletes.

With the active involvement of SK Volley Novi Sad, the EDATS project aims to ensure that sports technology innovations become validated in real training and competition environments and evolve into pedagogically and professionally sound solutions, thereby contributing to the qualitative development of European youth sports and sports health.
