BEKESCSABAI ROPLABDA SPORTEGYESULET (BRSE)

Within the partnership is a very important and popular club in the Hungarian series and whose name is known throughout Europe. The entity, Békéscsabai Röplabda Sportegyesület (BRSE) – Békéscsaba (Hungary). In the past seven years, the volleyball team-adult sector-has won the Hungarian championship five times and the Hungarian Cup twice. The institution works constantly on the systematic and professional training of youth teams, and this ensures excellent results achieved year after year of the adult teams, both at the national and international level. In recognition of the excellent work done, the idea of creating the Békéscsaba Volleyball Academy was was included in the Modern Cities Program. For more than two decades, BRSE has given great importance to the social problems of youth, to the realization of quality professional work, thanks to which Békéscsaba gives more youth and adult teams to Hungarian volleyball. In a disadvantaged region, as a rural association lacking in resources, one of the best and most successful youth bases in Hungary has been established, which is
also why no national youth finals have been held in the past five years without Békéscsaba. The main activity of association, which is also enshrined in its bylaws, is education through sports and theprovision of sports opportunities for young people. The “Academy” is a sports organization that operates in the Hungarian system of youth sports education, the purpose of which is to provide complex sports activities and complex and high-level specific compulsory training for athletes and sports professionals.

A good example for academics is the stability and good performance of the BRSE adult team. At the same time, after completing their studies and sports training, the children can successfully work for any other Hungarian or foreign team besides BRSE. The youth training model is based on the provision of age-specific training for boys at a young age, recruited according to a selection system based on sportsage competency standards, providing a state-of-the-art professional sports environment suitable for training elite athletes. Through individualized talent management, BRSE intends to be able to provide competitive public education to youth who do not reach the level of elite athletes
